Cable description

GYFTS

The structure of GYFTS (non-metallic reinforced member, loose sheath stranding type, steel polyethylene bonded sheath communication outdoor optical cable) is to sleeve single-mode or multi-mode optical fiber into the inner filled waterproof composite loose tube made of high-modulus plastic. The center of the cable is a non-metallic core. For some cable cores, a layer of polyethylene (PE) is extruded from the non-metallic reinforced core. The loose tube (and filling rope) is wound around the central reinforcing core to form a compact circular cable core, and the water blocking compound is filled in the gap of the cable core. Extruded polyethylene sheath after longitudinal wrapping of plastic coated steel strip.
